Excellent lightweight, breathable protection
I was looking for an extremely lightweight jacket for running and other aerobic pursuits. This one really fits the bill. It weighs a feather! You don't notice you have it on. I tested it out on a long run through a mist to light-rain, damp cold winter afternoon and it performed flawlessly. The inside was dry, minus what my base layer was wicking away. The mesh armpit vents worked great in regulating the temperature. No claminess. Drawstring waist hem if needed. Elastic cuffs work as expected. Sleeves are easy to push up if necessary. Nice stand up collar which is comfortable against the chin when fully zipped. It falls just below the waist in length, which is good for coverage when the weather is bad. It seems to run just slightly big, but I would not consider down-sizing. Hands down I think this beats a lot of the other wind/rain shells that I looked at and were much more expensive.
THIS JACKET DOES EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED
extremely light weight, packs in it's own pocket which then fits in a trouser pocket ! NOT water proof and its not meant but will shed light rain and heavy fog like a duck. Gotta say I'm lovin this little jacket. It works well over a light fleece shirt or vest
Nice Jacket
I bought this coat before going to the islands just to throw on in case it rained, but it was easy to store, made a good pillow on the plane and I wore it every night once the wind started blowing and the temperature dropped. Great utility jacket.
