3 season jacket
LOVE this very slick jacket, so light I don't even feel it on - pair with any midlayer and you can stay toasty and comfy from 55 Farenheit to 25 farenheit and yet slick enough for roaming around any cosmopolitan city around the globe!!
Perfect for Spring Skiing
My wife and I took our daughter skiing for the first time last night. It was in the low 40's and light rain. I was never wet or cold. Also, I've used this coat snowshoeing several times this winter, even in below zero wind chill, I was never cold. I don't think this would be warm enough if I wasn't doing a cardio workout in the cold winter months. This is my new favorite jacket.
Favorite Jacket for Pacific North West
This jacket is amazing. It is close to water proof, only missing taped seams. It is light and flexible, yet keeps you warm in cold conditions. For the Pacific North West, the tuck away hood is the best benifit. I couldn't find another softshell with a zip off stow away hood!
Great Jacket!
This jacket didn't turn out to be what I was expecting when I ordered it but I'm happy with it anyway. The body is made of a lighter, stretchier material than the shoulders, which gives great range of motion. It is definitely windproof and sheds water well. It's warm for a light soft shell but it won't stand on its own in colder weather. I'd prefer pit zips to the "gussetted vents" (patches of very breathable material under the arms) but it does breathe pretty well. And, on top of everything else, it's a nice looking jacket. Great product overall!
Super Hero
Jacket is warm but not what I was expecting. At about 40ish, you are still cool, was expecting a warmer jacket, could almost be used as a light running jacket, but for that it was not worth what I paid for it. Again, it is OK for a LIGHT jacket, but to wear as more of a layer, and not a jacket.
