One of the best!
This is a high-performance soft shell. It does everything it is supposed to do--repels water, blocks wind, has some insulating capabilities, and fits great. I have worn it in a white-out on top of a Colorado fourteener and it kept me warm and dry. Temperature was high 30's, the wind was gusting about 35-40 mph and I didn't notice. This week I wore it in light rain and the water beaded up nicely. You can wear it in colder weather but I would have a layer or two underneath. Shell is soft and flexible, unlike TNF Apex Bionic which feels stiff. I can put this in my pack without it taking up the entire thing. Weight is relatively light. It can cover a wide range of conditions with the right clothing/layering options. One note: the collar does not fit snugly against my neck so I can feel the cold air. Not a problem if I am wearing a t-neck, but when I wore a collar-type shirt the other morning, I did notice the cold. Is the jacket worth the high price? Depends on what you are looking for. You can find other soft shells that do the job for a lot less. This one is very well constructed and has pit zips, something you may not need. Overall, I have been very satisfied.

Excellent jacket
I use this jacket for xc-skiing and it's both very breathable and warm. However GTX windstopper has its limits when it comes to releasing body moisture and the inside ended up being quite moist after a 26 mile marathon.

Great Shell
I really have enjoyed this new jacket, it has great warmth to weight ratio. So lite I hardly knew it was on.

Great Jacket!!!
Living in San Diego it doesn't get that cold but this winter it has been in the high 30's just about every morning. The Sharp Point has kept me real warm, and the pit zips come in handy as the morning heats up. I really like the look and fit of the Sharp Point Jacket, Marmot makes great products and this is another one to add to the list...

love this jacket
I really like the windstopping qualities of this jacket. I bought a large that fits a little baggy on me but that leaves some room for some fleece layer under it when it gets colder. Now I use it for bike commuting with a long sleeve T-shirt under it. Perfect in the windy high desert Santa Fe Fall.
