My DH loves this!
I purchased this jacket for my husband a couple of years ago. He absolutely loves it! Claims it is great in every way. He now insists on wearing this any time there's rain and totally forgoes using an umbrella, as this keeps him so dry. Until now, he has never liked any type of rain jacket. Great purchase!

Precip Jacket
Great fitting and waterproof jacket. Great value for $$$, would buy same jacket again. It has been a wet fall and jacket has kept me dry. Fits true to size and will be great this winter for a shell over heavier clothing.

great shell jacket
This is a great shell jacket! It's very comfortable (doesn't have that stiff crinkly feel to it), it's durable (I know because this is the second one i've owned), and it's versatile. All in all a great buy!

Marmot Precip delivers
Great light weight, water proof jacket. Bought it for backpacking and to replace my 2lb Goretex jacket. Left in my car and used it the next day when the wind started blowing. Now its an all around jacket

Marmot Precip
Overall, this seems like a quality item at a reasonable price. Wore it in a complete downpour and stayed totally dry. The fit seems a bit large. I am 6' 1" 190lb and a medium is perfect for me. (glad it tried it on at a local retailer first) Cannot speak for the long term durability as the item is new to me, but I think it should hold up.
