best climbing short
I love this short. I wear it for climbing because the generous leg opening allows freedom of movement and the the waist is most comfortable under a harness or backpack waist belt all day. The double-sided velcro closure works perfectly.

comfortable fit
These shorts are light and airy, great for active adventures. They are my favorite climbing shorts.

great but not for me
this was a great short. super lightweight and comfortable but longer than i prefer, it went to my knee, and felt like a boardshort. i tried bluestone - very attractive color. true to size, i am 5'7" 125 lbs (39" hips) usually wear a size 6 and 36 was perfect, a little roomy actually. may have kept them if they weren't so long.

Comfortable fitting, slightly baggy, very cute shorts!
I was hesitant to purchase these w/o trying them on first but I found them to fit like women's boardshorts -- loose in the leg but tapered at the waist. They were roomier than I expected (I have a 29" waist and ordered the size 40, US 10, and they were almost loose). The fabric is superb. These shorts have a double-velcro closure that's a bit tricky but there is no drawstring on the fly-it's Lycra, which is good. Overall, I'm really happy with these shorts. They're cute and well made.
