comfortable and warm
Fit according to size. I generally war 6 to 8 , and the size 6 fit well. They are a little forgiving in fit. They look good, have some stretch and I think they will be very sturdy.
Great pants
I loved these pants. They are a great softshell pant. I intended to use them to ski in on warmer days. Mammut makes great products. I am unfortunately returning these pants only b/c they are too large. I normally wear a 25 or 26 in. waist, but I know that mammut stuff usually runs small so ordered a size 6 this was too big, should have gone with a 4.
Great Pants
Bought these pants for my wife, after she fell in love with them in a store but did not have her size. No real world impressions yet, but they look and feel great when tried on around the house. She is 5'4" and about 110 lbs, size 6 fit great (could accommodate a thin base layer) but are a little long. Will update after the next hiking trip.
Mammut Advanced pant
I bought these for my GF because of their durable construction and technical features. One note as to the zise, my GF is about 5'6" and the small's were a bit long so she had to get about 2" hemmed off. That are tight fitting pants, i would say you have room for some long unaware and thats about it. They are not a winter pant, unless like I said, you layer something underneath. They have nice pockets and the cuffs have elastic /snaps to inch around a boot. It's touch to find schoeller fabric in pants at times but these pants have it. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a good all around hiking/climbing pant. I would say cool enough for summer and perfect for fall.
