Best one I have ever had
1. Quite warm 2. Quite light 3. Water proof Absolutely a great down jacket. But this is bigger than normal shell jackets so order one size down.
It's so warm down jacket
This is the most I've ever had my own down jacket is a warm jacket. Europe's best to put too much goose down is hot enough, compared to the Goose content is too light jacket. Suitable size to fit the size and length are suitable. In short, is a great jacket.
Great Jacket
I just recently received my Ambler Hooded Jacket and it is great. The fit is fine and it is very warm. I was concerned about the velcro cuffs, but they are quite comfortable. The hood fits snugly and keeps the neck warm. All in all, a great jacket.
Super Comfortable
Well put together and snazzy looking. Wish i had bought it sooner. SOOOO warm!
A Human Furnace For Us Chilly Ones
I'm 6'4",170 and the XL fits well and leaves a little room around the trunk for layers. Compared to relaxed, casual fitting Marmot jackets, I'd call this a trim, athletic fit. The sleeves are plenty long, a rare thing in down jackets for tall people from my experience. I've not owned a down jacket in many years as I could never get one to fit right, so I've been using Primaloft and Polarguard jackets and been unimpressed by their warmth(lack of). This one really packs the insulation, easy to overheat which was rare even in a Marmot Belay Parka with two layers(7oz. sq/yd total in the body) of Primaloft. The only improvement I could see is ditch the lycra around the hood for a drawcord muff. The zipper is a little hard to start too, but it's livable. Overall a fine jacket!
