Great Boots!
Comfortable fit offering wide width; true to size; good ankle and arch support. Room for custom orthodics, if necessary. Great for walking/hiking in dry or wet conditions. I love Lowa brand. This is my second pair of the Renegade GTX. Like the way they look too! Enjoy ordering from Altrec.

Great Boot
Over the last 10 years, I have logged a lot of miles, and this is my 3rd pair of Lowa Renegade Mid GTX Hiking boots. I save my old ones for the raining, muddy trail days, and after 5 years they still keep my feet, warm, dry and comfortable. I just got a new pair because my soles were wearing down, and I like the better traction for dry summer trails. Would definitely recommend these boots, you don't have to break them in.

Wonderful boots
I am delighted to have found these boots. I looked for over a year and either didn't like how they looked or how they fit. Really, I looked everywhere both East and West Coast. I use them every day and they fit very well and look good. I plan to get another pair in another color if I can find my size.

great shoe but
the size 8 womens is is equivalent to a 38 europen. It would be a good idea to contact customer service before ordering to get the true European sizing.

good multi-purpose boot
I recently fractured both feet, and am looking for a boot that is not too heavy, supports my foot, and would be easy to wear on city streets as well as hiking. These boots seem to fit the bill, though I would like better arch support. Also, I am considering ordering a size down. I am normally a 7.5, regular width, and ordered the corresponding European size, but these are a little big, even with a thick sock, so I may exchange them.
