"ALL TERRAIN: From New Hampshire's White Mountains to southeast Alaska, testers hiked this burly, all-leather, waterproof boot through miles of rain, mud, creeks, and found it's waterproofing infallible.
This boot may need mention in your will.
Ably handled unstable, rocky terrain and the worst bushwacks. Super supportive. The Tibet Pro will carry as a big a load as you're willing.
After a rough traverse of the Presidential Range, one tester said They barely look used." - Backpacker Magazine Gear Guide

My Favorite HIGH-RISE Boot
The boot is very solid and comfortable. It might be hot in the summer though. The one draw back is the quality of laces. They aren't so abrasion-resistant. I also like the fabric interior, as it is breathable. I heard the interior is the first to fall apart, but we'll see.
Great quality and comfort
Very impressed with the quality of the boot . Fit runs a little small I am typicallly a 9.5 and had to go with the 10. First time wear I put on about 5 miles and had nothing but confort. The heal realy fits well. Love how the boot laces and stays snug after lacing. Planning to use on sheep hunt in the fall in the Yukon territory. Looking foreward to trekking the mountains in these fine fitting boots.
Lowa Pro GTX
Very firm high top hiking boot, allowing extremly good ankle support. Very expensive, but worth the money if your looking for a boot that will meet the rigors of extreme hiking.
great boots
The low tibet boots are a super choice for those looking for a durable and comfortable boot for loading over rough terrain. This is the best fit boots that i have used to date. The lacing hardware permits you to tailor the tension to where one needs the most support. The only negatives are that they are heavy and take forever to dry should you let water inside.
Great heavy duty hiking boot
I purchased this boot for extended backpacking trips and hunting in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. I wear size 11.5 to 12. I purchased the size 12s which fit perfectly in length. However, this is a wide, higher volume boot. I added superfeet orange insoles and they fit great now. These are a very rugged set of boots that have exceeded my expectations for this fall/winter hunting and hiking in the mountains of MT. I expect them to last for years.
