Best boots I own
These are the best boots i have ever owned. Five pairs so far. Provide both ankle and arch support. Good for my poor back. Hope lowa keeps producing them exactly as they do now

Well Made
These are a pleasure to look at. Nice work. They are lighter than my last boots and perhaps stiffer, but they are still breaking in..only a week in service. I am buying another pair to help in keeping the moisture level down on the inside of the boots.. My gear works hard. My only wish is that the soles were just a bit softer, to conform to irregular terrain better than they do now... it may well be that these will...with a bit more mileage.

solid day hiker or backcountry hiker
Solid fit and construction. Fits true to size and for a little more narrow, lower volume foot. Solid design, good support, lightweight, solid vibram sole, probably up to 40-50 lb load. A little higher than similar models is plus, probably close to 6-6.6 inch high compared to a lot in the 4.5 - 5.5 weight were debris can get in your boot. The top lace loops are hard plastic, hope they hold up. So far so good. Great for day hiking or 4-5 day adventure with not a huge pack. Wish they had rubber rand for loose/broken rock.
