Love the Leki grip/strap system!
Got to try my poles out this weekend. Wow! I love this Leki grip/strap system. They are very convenient and work very well. It was very easy to get used to once I had been wearing it for a few runs. No more fumbling trying to get the straps on before the runs! Makes for very secure pole planting. It also stabilizes the pole in my hand even if my grip is not tight. The tips are sharp and plant very easily, even through east coast hard packed snow. Well worth the investment. Since poles are a type of purchase which last a long time, completely worth it to get a pair you love. I love these!

Jury is still out.
I bought these poles for my wife. She used them for the first time today. She was MUCH quicker off the lift (no messing around with straps). She seemed to like the low swing weight and the grip system. The only complaint was that the strap around her gloved hand and fingers feels tight. So far though, so good.
