Fantastic Backpack for travel
I bought the Kelty Redwing backpack for traveling to Europe for a month, and it has not disappointed. It's incredibly roomy and can be weighed down with books, clothing, and electronics without feeling heavy on your back. It's the ideal travel backpack and fits into even the smallest overhead compartment on a plane.
Great backpack durable and comfortable
Very sturdy and packs well. Plenty of room in main compartment, front and all pockets. Very accessible to things you need to reach fast. Took the backpack on a trip to Hawaii. Used it as a carry on for the flight and as a hiking backpack. Very good shopping experience with this store. Great packaging and shipping. If you need a backpack buy this Kelty.
A sweet backpack
I use this pack everyday to bring 30lbs. of gear into the woods including an axe, wedges, tools, water bottle, thermos and lunch box. It is an amazing workhorse! The padding and suspension are outstanding. It has many custom fit features that allow the load to be carried comfortably. This is my second Redwing and I would not hesitate to buy another one.
The carry-all do-all bag
I used this pack for a 3 day camping trip, i packed my clothes 3 days worth, sleeping bag and pad, electronic stuff, sandals, fun food, med kit, bathroom stuff including towels and washcloth, etc. this backpack in my opinion is the best and I have a mountainsmith and camelbak.
This backpack has no faults
This backpack is perfect for campers who need enough room for the basics plus a little extra. I was able to pack my tent, clothes, camera, sleeping bag, water, tools, and still had room. When fully loaded the pack was still comfortable and the waist belt took most of the weight off my back and distributed it to my hips.
