great color, great support
I have what is termed a "flexible arch" so my feet are happiest with support along the lines of what Birkenstocks offer. The Keens feel great, even my heels feel stable and supported. I'm usually a bang-on size 9/40, but since in the 9's I could feel the shoe with the tips of my toes I opted for the 9.5 which is just fine. The blue is not quite turquoise, kind of a robin's egg blue that's a tiny bit blackened, which I love it and is in large part why I bought the shoe. For whatever it's worth, even my husband thinks they're "cute". I like having a serious athletic shoe that--if I'm wearing it around town--doesn't make me look like I'm pretending I just came out of a marathon.
Very comfortable shoe
I'm an RN and spend a lot of time on my feet. After a twelve hour shift wearing other shoes my ankles are swollen and my feet are sore. These puppies are like wearing slippers around the house. I can see my toes smile when I slip them on. Love 'em.
excellent shoe, weird color
I loved the shoes and how they fit, nice and roomy at the toe and in the arch, good support all around, and true to size, (I LOVE KEENS) but the "drizzle" color was not what I was expecting. It was like a light neon topaz blue which was bound be be filthy after the first trail walk.
A Comfortable Shoe
I ordered my regular Keen shoe size and they fit like a glove. However, I believe they are too snug in the tow area for me especially if I decide to run in them. I will order up another half size to see how they work out and return the other pair. Overall, I love how the shoes cradle and support my high arches. I could do a lot of walking/hiking in these shoes.
Good as Keen's usually are but with a glitch
I love these shoes -- very true fit with no extra length to stumble over and plenty of width to wiggle my toes. But I have to lace 'em up tight because my ankles and heels are kinda narrow. And one of the eyelets and the ankle hole came off after only a couple of brief wearings. I hope my replacement pair won't have that problem
