Women's Keen Shasta
Fit true to sizing, (I wear a women's 10 and this fits well), breaking in period is negligible and it a very comfortable shoe right out of the box as are most Keen products. Lightweight and great for easy hikes. Not for hardcore backpacking in rocks and rough terrain or wet weather, this is a lightweight hiking shoe. Very suitable for the desert southwest where we live on easier trails. Will buy again when I wear these out!

Good shoe!
I already own a pair of 'low' Keen Shasta shoes but I also wanted a mid pair for extra ankle support. I chose the Shasta mid because it fits a narrow foot better than other Keen shoes. I like the style, the color, and the fit. I love that they are waterproof! I needed a half-size larger especially for hiking up and down hills. The only negative is that I could use a little more arch support. I think the Targhee II had more arch support but it was too wide for my foot. I may end up buying an arch support for the shoe. Otherwise I do like the shoe and I would recommend it!
