Great for Hiking
Highly recommend this shoe for hiking. Worn on two day hikes so far and they were so comfortable I forgot I had shoes on. Kept feet cool even in hot temperatures.

great for hospital work
I bought these, my first Keens, to combat Plantar Fascitis while working in a hospital on essentially concrete floors (tile over concrete). They've become my 'all around' shoes. They feel great and I would give them 5 stars if they had more support for the front half of my arch.

Manufacturing OOPS
I loved my two other Keen shoes, the Targhee II and Laguna sandals, because they are VERY comfortable with good arch support so I didn't need my orthotics. I wanted a breathable shoe for hot weather so I got the Shasta. They run a bit larger than my other Keens but were equally comfortable. I hated having to send them back due to the top loop on the right shoe that started to unravel. I found the customer service excellent! I called on a Sat. and they immediately emailed me a shipping label and packing slip. When I get the credit, I will probably reorder.
