Birthday Bullseye
Ordered the Anchorage Boot for my daughter who has just moved to Portland, OR from FL and needs totally different gear. She is very picky about her outdoor gear, especially shoes and boots. I was hoping the Anchorage would suit her for dog walking, general non-recreational outdoor activity in a wet, cool climate, as well as her work as a wildlife biologist on fishing boats. I was on the phone with her when the boots arrived -- she was ecstatic! She immediately put them on and said they felt great. Because she knows outdoor gear well, she was able to say exactly how she would use them. She now has said they were true to size (6 1/2; needs wide toe box and narrow heel) and that they are breaking in great. She referred to them as "rain boots" even though they have leather uppers. She says she likes them so much as a "go-to" general boot she won't need to buy anything else. I scored a Birthday Bullseye.

just what i needed
i just love these boots. they are just right for late winter, as the snow mounds disappear. very comfy and cute with leggings and a long sweater. just as cute with pants. can walk in them and go to work in them. perfect.

Favorite boots EVER!
These are exactly what I was looking for - warm, comfy, easy on/off boots to shovel snow, walk the dog, etc. They're rugged without being clunky, so I can wear them as snow boots, but can still drive in them and wear them around town without looking like I'm in full snow/ski gear. Also, my orthotics fit perfectly, even though the liner isn't removable. I may need to treat them with a waterproofing spray or something eventually, but for now, they've been great in terms of keeping my feet warm and dry. Fit is true-to-size for me - I have two other pairs of Keen shoes and ordered these in the same size with no problems. Two thumbs up!

Optimal purchase
Anything by Keen is optimal for someone who needs a wide toe bed and good arch support. These boots are warm and look great. Can be worn out on the trail and into the office as well.
