So far, so good
Haven't put them to the test yet, but so far, am very pleased. Very comfortable in and out of the water and dries quickly. Haven't had them in the muddy conditions Nebraska rivers have but they appear to be able to keep gravel out and won't pull off when stuck in mud.
This shoe rocks!!!
This shoe provided great stability on top of rocks and kept rocks out of the shoe. Perfect for my whitewater rafting trip on the Colorado thru the Grand Canyon. They drain well and were very comfortable. They went from the raft to the river to hiking the canyons and held up very well
Stability, comfort and support
From loading my kayak into and out of my truck to flat river and lake beds walking to scurrying over rocks and doing river portages my keen hood river boots seems to be a natural part of my foot. The adjustable straps do make for a secure fit and also keep sand out of the boots. The toe protection along with the solid outer sole provide me with peace of mind that my feet are protected when walking in water where what I will be walking over is not clearly defined. The boots are light weight, provide great support and drain well. I'm impressed with the materials used in the boots and the quality of their construction. The picture of the boots does show their quality and on my feet they are even better. I'm not looking for the latest or greatest, I now have a solid pair of water boots to support my outdoor adventures.
nice boots
these are really nice but, if you have big feet like me they might not fit in your kayak comfortably.
Just what I wanted!
At last a shoe that didn't fill up with sand and small stones. I used them this weekend in Lake Erie and they worked great. Easy off when wet and pretty easy back on when wet. This was my 5th attempt in 7 years to find a pair that kept the stones out. Also found them very comfortable, kept them on during the day, while building a deck on the house.
