Best sneaker out there
I have three young boys (7, 5, 2) who all wear Keens because of their durability and comfort. I just bought this pair because my 5 year old grew out of his last pair. The shoes hold up to all a boy does with them and they still look good enough to wear the next day. This is a must buy especially at the price Altrec offers them.
Keens are definitely part of surviving cold and wet winters. I have bought these now for the past 2 years for my 2 1/2 year old twins and I wouldn't buy anything else.
Excellent shoe, sturdy and wider than average kid's hiker.
I purchased these shoes for my 4 year old. He loved them. They were comfortable and durable and look great. I think they are really going to wear great!
LOVE this shoe.
My son and I both love these. They are definitely worth the price. They are very well made. Not bulky or tacky. I like the gray ones, they seem to work well with just about everything. My son wears them daily. They must be super comfortable, because both of my children prefer these over their other shoes. My three year old has the toddler version and easily gets them on and off without assistance. One big plus is that they are water resistant. For me, that was helpful in deciding to purchase them. My kids love to walk through puddles and I wanted something that could withstand their wear and tear. Two neighbors are now purchasing pairs for their children after having seen ours.
Very Well Made Shoe!
I just purchased these for my 2 y/o daughter who has wide feet. Keen has been fitting the bill for this need. We have been on a few hikes with these since the purchase and the waterproofness is perfect for all her exploring needs so we can continue the hike without any issues. Food for thought, though...while putting on the shoe, Keen uses a single bungy lace that cinches at the top. It can be difficult to slide the foot in. I have to work at spreading the opening. Remember, the tongue is attached for the waterproofness. I could probably cut the cord and that would give me a little more room, but I just spread it as wide as possible and work her foot in. I would imagine over time when the leather becomes less stiff it will also become easier to open.
