Blocks 95% of all visual light. The only thing darker might be a welding mask...
Julbo's Nomad with mirrored Alti Spectron X6 lenses blocks 95% of transmitted visual light, which is ideal comfort when your world of white suddenly turns dazzling bright. The Nomad frame is Julbo's top seller and features removable sun stop shells along the corners for additional peripheral coverage. Keep in mind that Alti Spectron X6 lenses are CE Class 4 protection and not recommended for driving or high-speed situations where changing light (shadows) can suddenly impair your vision.

I love my Julbo's
The Julbo Nomad sunglasses do exacty what I want them to do. They block out glare and bright sunlight. I see a very sharp and clear image when I wear them. They fit great and look cool. I would recommend them to anyone.
Bomber sunglasses
The Nomads are excellent all around sunglasses in bright/sunny locations. Not the best in shade or indoors as they tend to be to dark, but then again who needs sunglasses in these areas. This is my second pair as first ones where stolen by some smart fool.
Julbo is a fantastic brand
I've worn Julbo Nomads for about four years now. I have one pair with the Alti X6 lenses that I use for winter mountaineering and skiing, and a second pair fitted with polarized Rx lenses that I use on the water. The frames are exceptionally durable and it's easy to swap the side-shields on and off for different conditions. Recently I had a minor issue with one pair of frames, and Julbo replaced them immediately under their lifetime warranty. There were no hassles, and they were VERY personable. I'm a loyal customer.
Perfect sunglasses!!!!
Great fitting glasses. Very comfortable.
My eyes are so happy.
Ah, sweet, blessed relief from bright sun. I never thought I'd buy a pair of non-polarized glasses, but I figured with only "5% visual light transmitted", I'd give it a try. I expected it would turn day into night, but nothing of the sort. I use them driving in all kinds of weather (sunny or not). The only time they MIGHT be a little too dark is when I enter a building with dim lighting. Despite the lack of polarization, these prevent bright reflections from bothering me too much. Clarity and peripheral vision are excellent, and they cradle my face and make my eyes so protected and happy. Best glasses I've had so far. (But I'm saving up for a pair of the Julbo Cameleon polarized.)
