nice shirt and what I was looking for
I have one other icebreaker shirt (long sleeve crew bodyfit) and love it. I wanted a thinner short sleeve icebreaker to climb, hike, and travel in and decided to pick up this one. Yes, it is a bit small in the stomach area so you may want to size up if you are uncomfortable with a slightly tighter fitting shirt in that area. I kept my size (s) and love its versatility, beautiful purple color, quality, and ability to handle days of wear without smelling horrible. Love icebreaker - recommended.

comfortable and wicking
Love this shirt! Ran in it on a 90 degree day and felt cooler then I do in my polyester shirts. Afterwards it didnt smell as I listened to my friend complain about how her polyester shirt retained odor before we even started running despite having washed it. Wool is the way to go and icebreaker knows how to make their garments soft and very thin for warm or cool weather. Short sleeves are a little longer then I usually wear but fitted and flattering. Nice for sun protection. Nice vents on the sides and the back. It would be great for backpacking.

good quality, too small
I bought this shirt for an upcoming hiking trip, and I wish I had enough time to return it. I ordered the size that my measurements indicated however when I received it the shirt was surprisingly small. I have not had a chance to use it on the hike so I cannot review its performance. I can only comment on it being smaller than anticipated.
