great look and fit
I've been an Icebreaker fan for close to 2 years now. I bought my first Rio pant then and love the comfort of it. I'll address the size: i originally purchased a S - I am 5.8', 135 pounds; The S fits nice in the hips but is slightly short. So a year later i purchased Rio in an M. The length is much better but it's a bit looser on the hips - comfortable though (not too loose to give me a saggy bottom). It's amazing that regardless how long i sit or cross my legs, it does not deform the pant. I adore the quality: super warm yet breathable. I am slowly slowly changing all my cotton/poly to Icebreaker. I also purchased a Lily Pant (thicker than Rio) and that model sits tighter through the thigh. Both models are very comfy!!! So I kept both and am very happy :)

These are great pants. They are very comfortable and warm. I believe that they will last longer than other similar pants. I recommend purchasing a size smaller than what you would normally wear for best fit. I usually wear a medium and I purchased a small. I only wish that they came in different colors.

love these pants!
These pants are fantastic for lounging around the house in the winter or for errands around town in fall or spring weather. The fit is extremely flattering to a woman's figure. I did not have any problems with the waistband, as another reviewer stated. I think they are a much more flattering alternative to sweatpants. I love the length since I am 5"9", it is perfect. They wash great if you follow the instructions on the label. I hang to dry to keep the shape. I love these so much that I got a second pair when they went on sale. Sizing: I wear a 10 or 12 in street clothes and the medium was perfect. I have slimmer hips and these ride low. If your weight is in your hips, you may need to size up. Highly recommend!

Style for every day
Nice fit, comfortable stretch, pockets, and lightweight warmth make these pants super for indoor and outdoor wear. They can be dressed up easily for going out to eat. I have even worn them on warmer days for XC skiing. The length is perfect for me at 5'8". Very nicely constructed.

Icebreaker does it again
I'm a merino wool addict now and these are a definitely a great addition. I have a heavier style in pants for more chilly temps but these are light and comfortable for a cool night at home or a fall hike. I'm tall and they fit perfectly so they might run long on a smaller person. I wouldn't wear them for a hike where you would hit a lot of branches/scrambles, etc. as I don't think the fabric would stand up, but otherwise a great pant.
