another Icebreaker yes!
This jacket in java has become one of my favorite 4 season articles of clothing. I normally wear a small in Icebreaker shirts,- could have gone smaller but since I plan to wear layers underneath, the small fits true to size. This is a quality piece, well made, long, doesn't ride up, and is stylish. It has nice long sleeves with a tiny pocket for ID or keys. Love this so much, I confess I'm buying another in black.
great product
Love the look, great quality true to size
Can't beat wool to regulate your body temperature
I have ditched my synthetic moisture wicking tops in favor of wool for my early morning bike commute and arrive at my destination much cooler - wool regulates temperature better. The fact that this jacket is stylish and very comfortable makes it one of my favorites.
My new favorite sweater
I'm a huge icebreaker fan and wanted an outer layer from their winter collection. This piece is PERFECT! 320 is almost their heaviest weight fabric. This works as a great outer layer through 60-degrees (with a thin layer underneath) and a great mid layer for colder temps. I also wear this indoors in an overly air-conditioned office. I bought the Java color -- the zipper is actually cranberry colored, which doesn't show up in the picture. No hood, no thumb loops, which is fine by me because other jackets have hoods and thumbloops. Fit is slim but not skin-tight. If you plan to wear this over bodyfit layers, then get your normal size. If you want to have bulky layers underneath, then maybe order a size up as the arms will get tight. My favorite part about the Pinnacle is surprisingly the pockets -- they are soooo soft and so warm when I put my hands in them! Depending on how you layer it this will definitely be a three-season sweater (or maybe 4 season, depending on your office).
