IceBreaker is my favorite base layer
I can't say enough good things about Icebreaker base layers. I live in mine all winter long. They keep me warm when it's cold and wick moisture away from my body after a heated run down the mountain. The other great thing about my IceBreaker is that when I get down the mountain at the end of the day, the colors and styling make for a great apres look as well.

Great Buy!
The top is very stylish and form fitting. The fabric is warm and soft to the touch. Buying it at Altrec at a discounted price is an added bonus. Other sites are still selling this at regular price.

Great Baselayer
The Olympia Zip is the perfect balance of form and function. I bought it as a baselayer for skiing and snowshoeing but found that it is a perfect weight for the weather in San Francisco. The contrasting stripe detail gives it more style than a standard black or grey 1/4 zip pullover.

totally won over
I loved the first 320 powder zip I bought so much that I went back and bought more in that weight as well as in the 260 olympia style. They kept me completely warm and snug from below zero weather through the thirties fahrenheit. I am 5'6", have fairly broad shoulders, wear size 34B and find the medium size fits perfectly for skiing while still giving me a nice slim outline and easy to layer under my outerwear. They are so nice one could wear them to dinner as well. My husband then bought an ascent zip and aspen zip tops and became hooked as well. Our only suggestions might be to add some basic colors( navy, red, green, yellow besides black that would be easier to match to outerwear and that have a stripe or stripes in a contrasting or white or silver color to add some variety .

stylish enough for urban living
originally purchased it for skiing, but am wearing it more often as a sweater. I am 5ft 3, have lean figure, and xs fits me perfectly. so perfect that I actually wear it for any occasion. I once wore it for my date ight and my bf couldn't stop complementing me how much it is flattering on me. very stylish. trust me, I am a new yorker and this is the best sweater I purchased in years in, or out of the city!
