I bought this for my girlfriend. She has worn it in all kinds of weather as both a base layer and just as a shirt. It is warm and comfortable with no smell after many uses. She loves it.

Everything in one
This top is fabulous. High quality, warm, breaths, and it has long sleeves with thumb loops to keep your hands warm. I wouldn't say they were too long, I have average arms, they fit just fine, I like the thumb loops. I'm also short in the waist, the length is great, I can wear it outside my pants without looking tunic like. It is loose enough to move, which I also like; add on the merino wool aspect and this top gets top scores!

Like a second skin
Icebreaker products are wonderful. This top is no exception. The java color is more like a purple gray, not a coffee kind of java. Keeps me very warm and feels true to size. Sleeves are long so it you have long arms and a long torso, this is for you. I'm sorry to find out these are outsourced to China. Still the workmanship is excellent.

awesome baselayer
I wear it all the time on cold runs. I can wear it several days before it starts to smell, which is a major bonus.
