There's not much to review about a scarf - it's a pretty simple accessory. It should look good. It's basic black - goes with everything. Check! It should feel good. Mmmmmmerino! So very very soft - Icebreaker really knows what they're doing with their wool. Check! It should wear well. Not too bulky - wear it in a variety of styles without feeling like it's choking you. Also has enough coverage to wrap around your face on really cold & windy days. Check! So, there you go. It's a long, soft, good looking, warm, comfortable piece of wool. Winning!
great scarf
I bought this to go with my down jacket & have worn it daily when temps drop below freezing. Very soft & comfortable. Long ebough to double over & loop, too.
A notable addition to my winter wardrobe
I have used this scarf a lot! The texture is extremely soft, the length is perfect for one full wrap around the neck with the right amount of scarf left hanging, and the color is "Divine!" Goes with most other colors, but adds a little color without being a "neutral" shade. This scarf has a perfect weight and bulk to it; just enough to know that it's there. It's a quality, warm scarf without that "outdoor" look, so it can be used for dressing up a little more than a fleece material, if necessary.
Great Scarf!
The Icebreaker Boa is a great medium-weight scarf. Given that it's unisex and I am a woman of average height, I need to wrap the scarf around my neck a few times. The merino wool is soft, durable, and not at all itchy. The "divine" color (a rich dark purple) looks great.
Love my Boa!
During the winter months I wear my Icebreaker Boa just about all my waking hours (outside of showering!). It seems to help keep my whole body warm. It goes with just about everything--I have it in "Divine"--and can be tied a bunch of different ways, though I tend to just wrap it around a couple of times and forget about it. Can't say enough about the Boa... love it!!
