comfortable and durable
first icebreaker product that i ever purchased. own loads of ibex apparel and quite a few smartwool items -especially socks. i intended to purchase more smartwool socks but after lots of research i decided to take a chance on icebreaker. i love these socks! i already prefer them to the smartwool socks. they're super comfortable. completely forget they're on my feet. i like the no cushion. i wear barefoot type shoes so i like the no cushion. to test whether these low cut socks would stay in place, i played tennis in them for over three hours. they stayed in place and held up quite well. they seem very durable. ummm....i also tested their reluctance to stink by wearing them for three days straight -that included tennis and golf. no stink! love'em. this now has me looking at other icebreaker apparel. quite pleased with these socks. as for long-term durability, don't know yet. one thing that i prefer about these to the smartwool socks is that the icebreaker are 100% wool. smartwool and other brands usually use no more than about 70% wool. so there! recommended! i've since bought 10 pairs of icebreaker socks. :-D also, altrec rocks! super fast shipping! received all orders in two days. be joy!
