thick and warm
these socks are great for cold weather hiking/mountaineering, they are very thick so make sure theres room in your boot before ordering and dont let your feet start sweating or ull be unhappy,

Much better than Smartwool mountaineering socks!
I switched from cotton socks to Smartwool brand socks couple of years ago. But after purchasing and using Icebreaker shirts, I decided to try their socks. These socks are definitely step above Smartwool brand for material and quality of workmanship.
