My new favorite
I've worn this as a base layer snowshoeing and on several hikes this winter. Keeps me cool when I'm working hard and keeps the smell down at the end of the day. Merino wool is a wonderful thing and I'm not afraid to pay a premium to wear it. Highly recommended.

Love the Fabric
I wore my first Icebreaker 200 when I borrowed my husband's for a trip. I loved the fabric and the warmth. I have worn it a lot and it does not show the wear. He had a medium and it was really just right for me 142 - 5'6". I have other merino wool shirts but this one really is great. There is an elasticity in the fabric and it doesn't stretch out while wearing. I got this one because of the color but I want to get another from the women's line this time. It is the perfect shirt for warm and cool weather, never itches, and you can sweat in it without getting it smelly. I think the Large will be fine for me in the women's.

icebreaker
these clothes are awesome. My wife would never wear wool because it was too itchy...........but the Marino wool icebreaker clothing line she just loves!!!! and so do I what could be better than a nice warm wife?

Icebreaker is the best around!
Since I bought my first icebreaker item last year, I have not been able to keep myself from growing my collection! This particular shirt is amazing because it works in both warm and cold situations. It keeps me dry all the time, and it regulates temperature very well! Doesn't hold smell either.Amazing!

Essential wear for cold excursions
This base layer is perfect for cold weather. It fits snug and provides a ton of warmth for the weight. Best of all it breathes and you can wear it for days on end without getting too funky. As far as the fit, this one is definitely a snug fit and great as a base layer if you have an athletic or slim build. The sleeves are plenty long and the length is just right. The seams are finished well and no loose thread anywhere. The only thing that bugs me is the small silk screened logo on the left sleeve near the cuff. I find it annoying but I don't like logos in general. It also has the IB logo embroidered on the left chest but that is black on black and not so noticeable.
