Merino Glove
Excellent merino glove. Not particularly warm on it's own in colder temperatures, but excels in aerobic activities. I would recommend this glove for active wear down to higher freezing temperatures all the way up to 50 degrees. On their own, I would recommend not using these gloves to handle anything approaching rough use such as installing car chains. I learned the hard way that they are not a do everything type of glove as the threads can tear more easily than anticipated. They are best suited for jogging, hiking, etc. Work well for backpacking also where gloves are often preferable for detail jobs (setting up a tent, stove, etc.) when conditions get frigid. I've found merino to be the best material for next to skin applications and Ibex makes great stuff, this being a good example.
Good Liners
I recently got these liners, and thought I'd see how they work just by themselves. Well, they're definitely liners, not great for independent use. The pinky and thumb are a little long on me, but I could just have weird hands. Overall, they're a good product, the material feels and looks very nice, and they do exactly what they're supposed to.
The most amazing warm liner gloves ever
I suffer from Raynaud's disease which means my hands get very cold easily and quickly. However, these Ibex wool liner gloves kept my hands warm alone while hiking in 36 degree weather and even when I got them slightly damp! Without a doubt, these gloves are a perfect starting point to keeping your hands warm (and dry with a shell) so I highly recommend them to everyone with cold hands!!!!
Shak Glove Liner
I ordered the Stretch Liner at the same time, thinking that I could use these, and them, alternately, which I can, but I can also fit the Stretch Liner into the Shak so I have three options! Cold hands were the last arena in my struggle to stay warm through the winter. So far so good!
