definitely highly recommend
it is v comfy, lightweight, gorgeous style, and IBEX is a great brand. I could go on and on....thank you Altrec and carry on. Like the larger longer fit of the men's medium for me, a tall skinny woman. Great!

high quality, high price
I bought this shirt for my husband's birthday. He very specifically loves all-wool shirts (esp merino) and his fav is this light to mid-wgt weave (195). He wears this shirt bicycling, skiing, and just hanging out and is always comfortable, warm, and never stinky (like polyester can be). He is 5'10" and 155#, broad-shouldered and this shirt fits a wee bit tight, but not bad. This weave can wear down over time (esp wear the sleeve rubs his watch) but he finds it the ideal all-around wgt and material. He can layer or not (often does with a short sleeve it over it). I bought it at full price in order to get it on time but was dismayed to see it on sale on-line 10 days later for $30 less. Still, it is a top of the line item and we will buy again in future. BUT, if you have any wool allergy, although it is super-soft, this won't work for you-- I know; I tried.

Base layer yourself with Ibex Indie Zip T
I purchased two of these in the colors of Burnt Sienna and Dark Ink. The colors are great. I was a bit nervous if the weight of the fabric would suffice given the cold winter. It turned out to be quite good. I use it as a base layer and it wicks and breathes just like wool does. This is good quality and very comfortable.
