Cut short to reduce bulk in tall boots. Exceptional comfort from soft and itch-free merino wool.
Cut a bit shorter than traditional models, the Ibex Men's 3/4 Johns Long Underwear is ideal for those wearing tall ski, snowboard, and mountaineering boots. The cuff is mid-calf instead of down near the feet, reducing bulk around the ankle and lower calf. The itch-free merino wool is soft, naturally stretchy, and offers antimicrobial odor control.

2nd Skin for Winter
When the temperature drops to the 40s or below, these become my second skin. I like the 3/4 length--not as warm as full-length long johns, but not too hot either. Garment construction is good, haven't worn them out after daily use for some of fall and all of winter. Wool is great for odor control too. Fits true to size. Would highly recommend.
3/4 Long Johns
These are perfect for skiing because of the length, not so much bulk in your boots. They are also warmer then you might think due to the light weight.
help on the chairlift
I was looking for a warm extra layer for the long ride up the mountain on the chairlift. These long johns are just what I was looking for. I really like the three quarter length because they don't tuck into my ski boot. The fit is excellent. Ibex does tend to run on the small side so I ordered a larger size. The wool is comfortable and the fabric washes well. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.
excellent
I love these for biking on colder days. They are very comfortable and fit great.
great for downhill skiing
Under my ski boots, I only want my ski socks; no cuffs from the bottom of long underwear. So I always had to pull my full length long underwear up to just below my knees and bunch the excess material along my thighs. The 3/4 length does the trick. I have a very thin pair fom another brand for warmer weather, but they do not have a fly. The Ibex are perfect; mid-weight for warmth while skiing down to zero degrees, a fly, and 3/4 length for ease of use with ski socks.
