Great for walking and running
The Wave 70 Hydration Backpack will be able to provide you with a comfortable way of carrying 2 liters of fluid, and because it is very light weight and evenly distributed, I had no problems running for 6 miles with it on my back. The storage pocket is great for storing little items like smartphone, car keys or permits. I liked the fact that the pocket is outward facing so it doesn't get humidity from your own sweat. The drinking pipe is well built and when I hike with my kids I don't need to take it off in order for them to drink from it. There's also good ventilation between the bladder and your back so again - the carrying case doesn't get wet easily. Some other nice features: - Easy cleaning: big opening for rinsing with mild soap. - Front & back loops for placing flashlight/warning light. - Easy lock/release for the drinking tube. Overall: A great product.
Great Product
Excellent hydration pack as advertised! Could not be happier about my purchase.
Fabulous hydration pack
I bought this pack for my husband because it lays flat against his back, holds 2 liters of water and has a small zippered pouch for gels, ID, cellphone and keys. But the best feature is the insulated tube that keeps the water from freezing. He ran an ultra one winter and the tube froze making it unusable. This pack was well thought out by the designer for wintersports.
Perfect
Exactly like picture. Doesn't leak. Love it!
Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a lightweight water pack for hiking and skiing but I didn't have a lot of money to spend. I searched many sites and found that Altec offered great prices on high quality brands that I saw on other sites. The backpack carried a good amount of water, was easy to use and the backpack was not super heavy. The one drawback is that, for hiking, the pocket wasn't large enough to carry all the stuff I want to take hiking. It carries my keys and phone but not food. For skiing though it's perfect since I don't need to put anything in it.
