Great ski pant
I received these as a Christmas present from myself :-) for a family ski vacation to New Mexico. Initially I was concerned that the pant wouldnt be warm enough since it is basically a shell pant. Let me tell you warmth was not an issue! These pants worked great even in -10 F temps. I wore thermals and a thin sweat pant underneath, but probably could have been fine with just thermals. Double check the sizing before buying. I actually went to the Helly Hansen site and looked at their sizing chart for the pants and determined I needed the XL as opposed to the L (L was recommended using Altrec sizing chart). Im 511 and wear 36 waist pants and the XLs had plenty of room in the crotch and legs. The velcro waist adjustments are a nice touch! The pants are a tad too long without ski boots on, but thats the trade-off when you select waist size over length. Overall Im very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend these pants!
