Excellent Day Pack
I've used this pack on a number of day hikes and it has held up great every time. The pack is big enough to fit all of the top 10 essentials for a day hike but small enough where it doesn't look like you have an oversized weekend pack on for only a day hike. The zippered compartment in the front of the pack is big enough to fit a guidebook, first aid kit, gear repair kit, fire kit, headlamp, compass, bug spray and suntan lotion. I've used the stretch pouch on the outside of the pack to fit my fishing net and the side pockets for my water bottle and fishing pole. The large main compartment has been used for spare clothing, an emergency bivy, binoculars, a small tackle box, and food. There is a small zippered pocket in the main compartment that can be used for sunglasses or your keys and wallet. Lastly, the detachable waist belt has two zippered pockets that are great for a light snack or your water purification droplets. Needless to say, the pack was well designed and is perfect for a long day hike. It's build quality and excellent use of materials make it a must have for those that want a quality lightweight pack.

Go Lite for Life!!
Great mid size pack for day trips and short day hikes. Well thought out construction and very durable. T have used this product 6 times in the last month for short and day hikes and it is comfortable, cool, very light weight, and very user friendly. Pack is much lighter than the competition. I am now looking at another Go lite pack for my over night trips. A must get!
