Great Boot for a variety of uses
I bought these boots for a European trip where I'd be doing a lot of walking, and they felt great right out of the box. The unique suspension and balance makes you feel like you're bouncing rather than plodding along. As a lot of other people have said, they run a 1/2 size small. A great boot!
These boots are awsome
I had to return toe first pair because as previously stated, they do run small. I went up a half size and with hiking socks, they felt like bedroom slippers in comfort. The soles are pretty soft, but they have huge grip. The unusual insert can be customized to each foot. Pretty cool. Light weight, very comfortable, cool color, priced right, excellent boot. Just buy a half size larger than normal size. Hope they don't wear real fast. I was looking for a light weight pair of boots to ride my motorcycle in the heat and they work just great for that purpose. Now there is competition for the western bots that I ride in and the 3 pair of Timberlands and two pair of Keens that I hike in.

GREAT BOOT
Right out of the box and on a 6 mile hike on the Appalachian Trial (Smith Gap to WindGap, PA - lots of rocks!) Very good stability and light weight. Wore single pair of skiing sock under on a day when it did not get above 29F - feet never even approached getting cold.
Go Lite Hiking Boots not waterproof
All of my gear is used for hunting. These shoes were bought for early season elk archery hunting. The shoes were fantastic in nearly every way. As expected, very light, and as such very thankful at the end of the day. Usually put in between 5 and 10 miles per day, no sore feet and great support. Very quiet yet very good support. Only had them for one season so cannot yet comment on durability. The only MAJOR beef I have with these is that they claim to be waterproof but are not even close. If you wore a pair of canvas sneakers you would have the same level of waterproof. In heavy rain, and very wet underbrush, I wore Sitka Gear rain suit, fastened around ankles... my feet were SOAKED in less than 15 minutes. So this was not a case of socks getting wet and transferring to the inside of the boots. So do not plan on using these in any kind of wet weather. Don't get me wrong, I love the shoes... but only on dry ground.
