The adjustable sternum strap has a built-in whistle. There's plenty of room for storage in the large front pocket, two side angled pockets, and bellowed pockets on the hip belt. Great
This is an excellent day pack add a 3-liter water bag and she will be ready to go. My wife uses it primarily for day hiking but it is so stable it would work well for trail running or biking too. Excellent buy for the money.
