Great Helmet... watch the sizing
This helmet is great. The cyan color is bright blue. I ordered a Large based on fit of other Giro helmets I had, and it runs just a bit smaller, mostly around the front near temples and cheeks. I returned it for an XL. Quality is good for the money. Styling is nice.

Giro Talon Helmet
I love this helmet. Comfortable and lightweight. A great looking design. It is warm, and perfect fitting. For the money, it is a fantastic helmet.

Great helmet for a great price !!
This helmet is well-designed and well-crafted. It's comfortable and warm, looks cool too. The graphics are great. Altrec.com was very good to work with. Everything went fast and smoothly. I'll be back to Altrec because of this & I'll stay with Giro as long as they continue producing this level of quality.

Giro Talon
I tried other Giro helmets on for size in stores before purchasing this one online cuz I couldn't find the Talon in my local stores. All those I tried were mediums and they had a little wiggle room in them, about enough to fit a head sock if needed. The medium Talon that I received was a bit more snug than those other mediums I tried on. None the less, it is a good fit and comfortable. I can hear fine through the full coverage and the chin strap has light padding and is not at all bothersome. Removing the vent covers requires taking off the helmet to unscrew the fasteners or a pretty adept bare hand while still on. Stowing the covers requires a trip to a large jacket pocket or my backpack, hence the less than excellent rating on performance. The helmet does not interfere with the face fit of my medium size Smith goggles and the goggle strap buckle in the back fits perfectly under the strap keeper on the back (where I've had trouble before with other helmets). It came with a nice helmet bag that has a interior goggle pocket. I really like this helmet and hope it continues to hold up over time.

Great Helmet
The Helmet is exactly what I was looking for. It is light and very comfortable. I was also impressed with Altrec.com. I intend to buy from them in the future.
