Great Purchase
Great hiking shoe. I've been wearing these for a for months now in a very cold damp climate. My feet stay warm and dry and I can walk for miles in them. They do run a little large but in a colder temperature a heavy sock makes them fit just right. Overall a solid shoe.

Super comfortable
First off, I ordered these boots on a Tuesday and received it by Friday of the same week. This alone is impressive. When I pulled them out of the box, they looked better than their website picture. When I slipped them on I knew instantly they were keepers: well made and solid. (The Garmont design on the side of each boot is pretty nifty too.) I generally love boots with Vibram soles, but what makes me love these boots even more is that they come with Volume Adjustment Shims (VAS), or added padding inserts, to place inside each boot. This is perfect for folks like me who want more cushion on the bottom of their feet. As far as sizing, I think they run true to size, but then I like my shoes to run a bit large. Overall a very cool boot. I'm already planning on my next purchase.

Worth every penny!
I am a steady size 7 in all shoes. These boots seem to run a bit large so order half size smaller... :) They seem to be a bit stiffer than my last pair of hiking boots but I quickly realized how grateful I was for the extra support around my ankles as I trekked through the snow and ice in the hills of Northwestern Pennsylvania. My feet are warm and dry now! YIPPEE! Exceptional quality - definitely built to last! Would whole heartedly and without reservation recommend these boots!

Excellent boot for urban and rural hiking!
This is a great shoe! Very comfortable, keeps my ankles stable, waterproof, and warm in cold weather. I walk to work everyday and would suggest these boots for a 5+ mile walk. They do run a little big but not enough to make you feel like your foot is all over the place.
