Excellent!
Was skeptical about paying a fair sum of money for 'just another air mattress'... but this one was very comfortable and worth every penny. Not sure why it is better, maybe small tubes, insulation and non-slip surface. At any rate, a very happy camper.

comfortable and light
Exactly what I was looking for! Extremely small when rolled up, very light for back country travels yet still very comfortable. Has a built in pump saving you from exhausting yourself at bedtime

Great mat
The self inflating mats weren't comfortable enough for me & were too big to carry easily. This one is comfy, packs small, & works better. The pump could have been easier to use, but hand injuries caused my problems. I'd buy it again & recommend it to anyone looking for comfort in a light & small package.

Wonderful camping mat!!!
Being a large guy (280+) self inflating and closed cell foam mats were never comfortable and I never got a good night sleep while camping. I was also looking for something with a small pack size and minimum weight for use while bike touring. I took the Exped SynMat9 out for my first overnight bike trip to York PA and was amazed. It packs small enough to fit in my rear pannier with my tent, was fast and easy to inflate and kept me worm and comfortable all night. I highly recommend this mat to anyone looking for a better night sleep!

Extremely Comfortable
Wow. Who ever heard of a backpacking sleeping pad as comfortable as your own bed at home?? They take a little time to inflate but you're rewarded with super comfort! We first took ours on a backpacking trip and now plan to use them on river trips when we're tight on space, also. A good nights sleep in the wilderness is priceless!
