Self inflating, comfortable, durable the ComfortFoam Mat 7 Deluxe Pump is made from recycled foam insulation. Both profile flat valves (pat. pend) one for inflation and the other for deflation ensure ease of use. Two loops at the head end can be used to secure the packsack to the mat when used as a pillow. This self inflating pad is lightweight compared to other pads with the same properties. The little brother to the ComfortFoam Mat 7 Deluxe Pump.

Comfort + packability = happy back
I just purchased the Exped ComfortFoam Mat 7 and used it 5 nights straight during a bike tour. I couldn't have been happier. Packs light: My friend has the Exped SynMat (the orange one), and hers packs down to the size of a Nalgene bottle, as advertised. The ComfortFoam Mat is a little larger folded, because of the foam, but still quite manageable with my other gear. Backpackers might consider the SynMat instead because of its small size. Comfort: As a person with back problems, and after sitting on a road bike for 5 or more hours a day, a good night sleep is imperative for me. Since you can inflate the mat to your own level of firmness, it's like having a portable sleep number bed. I was extremely comfortable on both sod and hardpack surfaces. Design & price: The built-in pump made it so easy and convenient to get the mat ready - even in a one-man tent. It seems a little pricey to me but after the week I just spent sleeping on it I am glad I paid what I did. Previous mats I have used: plain foam mats (terrible) and an Alps Mountaineering comfort mat (nice, but not even close in comparison).
Very Nice
Great product...very nice to sleep on. Easy to set up and use. We used it on the Lake Shore...so it was very good and making the sand that is very not flat seem flat.
