Self inflating, comfortable, durable the ComfortFoam Mat 7 Deluxe Pump is made from recycled foam insulation. Both profile flat valves (pat. pend) one for inflation and the other for deflation ensure ease of use. Two loops at the head end can be used to secure the packsack to the mat when used as a pillow. This self inflating pad is lightweight compared to other pads with the same properties. The big brother sleeping bad to the ComfortFoam Mat 7 Pump

Sleeps the best out of ton's of product's
Easy to inflate and deflate, lightweight...but the best new's is that it sleeps better than the ton of other items we purchased over this past year. Finally something that does not make me swizzle all night long trying to get comfortable. If you are searching for the most comfortable pad start with this one first...before you spend $100 on any other mat whether it's a foam mat or another brand of inflatable...own them both, used them both at the same time but then kicked them to the curb for this one. Nice width too, enough width so you are not struggling to stay centered all night long. The two we have fill the floor of our two person tent completely so no one is falling into a crack at night which is so very nice indeed, that also keeps the coldness of the ground from being an issue as well. Very well insulated product for that issue as well.
3 years and excellent customer service
I've had the original mat for 3 years. It is the most comfortable mat that I own that fits into my kayak bulkheads. I need a warm mat due to Renauds Syndrome (hands/feet that get very cold and turn yellow) and any pressure on my hip (side sleeper) makes the bottom leg fall asleep. The comfort foam mat provides lots of cush in much less space than larger mats, like like Thermarest BaseCamp. Love the fact that even if it does develop a leak, there is still an insulation factor. During this year's trip to Alaska, my much worn mat developed a slow leak. Because the foam mat has actual foam inside, I was not cold or uncomfortable at night (temps in the high 40's to low 50's with my mat over a bed of muskeg or pine needles.. so no real rocks). I contacted Exped to see if they could help as the bathtub method of searching for the leak was not working for me. Within 7 business days the pump version which is now sold arrived in place of the old mat. Can't wait to try it out. I feel a trip to the San Juans coming on. All said and done, I have an Exped Venus II tent that I have now used for 4 seasons in Alaska (when/if it dies I can't wait to try the Orion) , a Comfort foam mat for kayak camping, and a Downmat 7 for backpacking (doing the TGO in Scotland). Exped's gear may not be ultralight, but it is ultrasturdy and their customer service rocks.
