Laptop Sleeve by Eagle Creek
The function of this sleeve - sleek and protective of a 13" laptop is hard to beat. Because of the very slim tight weave the handles help to keep it secure althought they add about 1/2" width at the top. They also are pretty handy to pull it from my briefcase where I keep it in the attache padded sleeve for travel. Advantages: slim and simple. Handles recess into the side and out of the way. Very little thickness added to laptop. Looks very stylish (I have the black). Drawbacks are: Handles may not be extremely durable - unfair to say because I have not had it that long. Perhaps would prefer simple nylon web material each side. Handles add about 3/8" thickness to the top end of the sleeve. Sleeve is very tight fit for a 13" computer with square corners. Have to push and pull to get them around the edge. Either it will stretch so the fit works or break (then I will send it back to Eagle Creek for repair/replace - that is an advantage actually.) I have only had this for 30 days at this time and really happy with it. If these handles last as long as the laptop, and the sleeve loosens and zippers never rip fail, then this would achieve a GREAT rating.
