AN UPDATE TO MY REVIEW
The 3 piece compression sacks were a great aid in getting organized, staying organized, minimizing wrinkling, and freeing up space in the backpack. For my spouse and daughter we found 'similar' sacks at a Columbia outlet and at Walmart. Yes, they were cheaper but only the Eagle Creek set allowed one to seal the sack and then roll out the air to attain tight compression. Both SAID they did this on the packaging--but that was not true AT ALL.

MAKES A DIFFERENCE
The interior of my backpack is structured into and upper and lower compartments. I purchased the 3 piece compression sac set as a strategy for packing my clothes and being able to get to them. This is working out great. The 3 sacks are large enough to hold all my traveling clothes. Squeezing the air out of the sacs is easy and really flattens out everything. The sacs do not leak, they stay compressed until opened. This set has made it easy to just reach in, pull out a flat envelope and there's my gear. Awesome product...

Great for organization and compression
With the new airline regulations, I wanted to be able to travel with only one carry-on bag. These compression sacs were the only way I was able to get everything I needed into the bag. I also found I was able to keep things better organized. Coming home, the swimsuits hadn't had a chance to dry, so putting them in the compression sacs kept them isolated and the rest of my clothes stayed dry. Great idea!

Great For Traveling With Lots of Clothes
I bought this set for my son, who is traveling to Thailand for three weeks and wanted to be able to take just one piece of luggage & a carry-on. He said the compression set, along with the folders & packing cubes allowed him to fit everything in with ease!
