High performance boot for all kinds of terrain
What I wanted for skiing this last winter was an amazing boot for accessing the sidecountry at my home resort. The Gaia was perfect. I used this boot all winter for guiding heli skiing, for skiing the resort on days I knew I would be cutting out the backcountry gates and I also used it as a performance boot for long, single day ski tours when I knew I would be skiing challenging lines. They never failed me. I definitely am wary of a women's touring boot- I'm 5'10" and I ski hard on big skis (I skied these boots on both K2 Darksides and on Dynafit Stokes) but the Gaia performed the best of any other women's touring boot that I have tried. The only reason for the four stars is that the boot was too narrow in the toe box for me and it took some fitting to get it right.

light boot, lacks performance
I am so tired of hearing things like this "for hard-charging women who want performance they can count on.", and then finding another floppy boot. This one is OK. It skis very soft, in my opinion, and the walking is only slightly more comfortable than my alpine boots. The fit is great, and they are light, which is nice, but driving big skis through serious lines is a challenge.
