COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT!!!!
This backpack is a dream come true!! SO WONDERFUL! Can be used instead of stroller anywhere! I also use it as a diaper bag. So, no diaper bag and no stroller anymore!! My son loves it! He has NEVER FUSSED when I use it! He feels so secure, like I am holding him and I have my hands free for other things. There is a seat in it so he is sitting and he just leans his head over when he gets tired to nap. All my friends want one now. The pack is very sturdy and all the safety straps are wonderful. If you adjust the arm straps and waist strap just right, they take the pressure off your back! I have a bad back and this has not caused me the first hint of pain. I can't say enough good things about this backpack!!
Less is More!
This is lighter and smaller than the big aluminum framed carriers and I prefer it now that my son hikes on his own and only needs an occasional carry. When he is not in the pack it is like a hiking pack for me with room for lunch and jackets. When I need to carry my son I just unzip the clamshell zipper to reveal the saddle and load him in. It is a little awkward to get him in but it carries quite well and can accomodate a larger child well. It also is better than the larger style packs for more active carrying becasue you can compress the child into your back more securely. Great for airplane travel too!
Great Product
We bought this product to use this summer hiking. Our son is one and a half and about 22 lbs. He fits perfectly and really enjoys it. It is def heavy but it is an extra 25 lbs on your back so what do you expect. It is comfortable and looks like it'll last a lifetime.
hard on the back
Overall I really like this backpack but if you intend to use this for hiking, be prepared. This backpack is great for events or shopping, short term. Having this as a diaper bag is pretty bulky but very handy. My child is 20lbs and being 5'4" 145lbs...I find holding her over 30mins. is hard on my back. The pack is not very sturdy as other backpacks. But I do think it is nice and easy to use. I like having it and do use it...but not for long term.
