Great pack for kids
This pack was a great choice for my 7/8 year-olds for their first backpacking outing. Fit their sleeping bag + a few other odds and ends. Very durable. Would also be good for kids who like rock climbing and want to carry their own gear.

well-made and cool!
we bought this pack for our 7 year-old boy, who loves to camp. the pack is well-made with high-quality material. we were hoping it could double as a school backpack, as well as one for camping trips, but it does not seem to be wide enough at the mouth to fit all of his school books (particularly large folders/binders). no worries; we'll still keep it, and he will enjoy it on trips for years to come. it's large enough that he feels like it is a pack for older boys, but small enough that he will still be able to carry it when it is loaded! great purchase!
