The DaKine Freestyle Snowboard Bag keeps your board safe during travel, and it doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles to add cost. A padded bottom keeps your new ride from getting scratched when you release it to the control of those crazy baggage handlers. DaKine added a center accessory pocket to hold goggles, gloves, or tuning tools, but they kept things simple to save you dough.

Better than I expected!
I purchased the item for my girlfriend. She really loves zebra print and I just happened to be in the market for a new bag to carry all her gear in. This bag was just perfect! Great price and great design. At first I wasn't sure whether it would fit all of her stuff in it. You can't really tell from the pictures provided so you just have to rely on the measurements. I ordered the 145cm (she rides a 142) because I didn't want it to be too long for her. I received the item within 3 days, THANK YOU ALTREC! The bag was more than I expected. It's really a great quality bag for it's price. The little zipped pocket will fit goggles and or gloves. The main compartment had a lot of protection on the bottom for your snowboard which I didn't expect. I have an old DaKine bag that I purchased back in '05 for $50 and had no foam protection. I was able to fit all her stuff inside + more. Her board w/bindings, boots, gloves, helmet, goggles, and snowboots. The only thing left would be her jacket. Don't let the picture fool you. This bag is so roomy and super strong I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good bag to pack your gear in.
Great bag for a great price. I ride a 155 and I can fit the board with bindings along with my boots, jacket, helmet, and assorted small gear (socks, goggles, mittens, some layers) into the back. The fit is just right for my items. I used the bag to transport my gear from Tokyo to Texas and finally to my snowboarding destination in Colorado. The bag came through brilliantly protecting all my gear. There is a small pocket to stash the should strap and a other little items (I store my multi-tool in there). And you can't beat the price.
Great Purchase
This is an excellent Bag for the money. I bought this for my girlfriend who has a 154cm board. The bag is big enough to easily fit her board with bindings, boots, and helmet, with room to spare for her pants and jacket. We recently flew to CO and I was happy to see that the padding in the bag allowed her new board to make it round trip with no damage at all. There is also a convienent pocket for storing the shoulder strap during travel. I would reccomend this bag to anyone who is looking for a padded bag for a reasonable price.
