We own 3 pair: Women's Catalina Mitt
My daughter and I own 3 pair between us. We have small, stubby hands, and the size XS and S are the first mittens that truly fit comfortably without extra bulk and length. Highly durable, very warm and the liners are soft and plush. The wrist strap is a great addition for keeping the gloves in place and an extra barrier to the cold. The cinch strap is easy to operate with one hand although one glove's cinch strap did tear off after 2 seasons of abuse but I tied it in a knot and it works fine.
Toasty mittens
These mittens are fantastic. My fingers normally feel like icicles, but not with these. The inside lining is very soft, and overall the feel is very comfortable.
Great, warm glove!
I purchased these mitts as a Christmas present for my sister. She has recently started skiing frequently in Colorado. She loves the new mitts and was happy I got her these ones over the others I was looking at. She says they are really durable and keep her hands warm and dry and she hopes to have them for many seasons!
Good Mitt at a Reasonable Price
I bought this pair of mittens for mountain climbing as I have terrible circulation and often loose feeling in my fingers during long climbs in the snow. I wore the mittens over a pair of thin stretch gloves and added hand warmers which fit nicely into the pre-stitched pockets. The sizing chart was right on and the mittens fit well with or without the thin liner. Without the thin liner and hand warmers, my fingers did go numb on the four hour climb to base camp. On summit day, I added the liner and the warmers and I found myself taking off the mittens on occasion as my hands were too warm. Overall these gloves worked well for my climb. I will use them again and would recommend them to friends. They even endured a stomp from my crampons without breaking the leather palm. Good mitts at a reasonable price.
Thinner than I expected...
Although I have not tried these gloves on the slopes yet, I was a bit surprised on receiving them that they are thinner than I expected. They don't seem to be as warm as I need (that being said... I am always cold).
