perfect little pack
I take this pack on every bike ride. It is large enough to carry my U-lock and cable, lights, rain/wind jacket, maps, wallet, keys, pump and first aid kit comfortably. My helmet clips onto the straps on the outside when not riding. (Pretty much all the necessities for a ride.) The hydration bag works great and the angled nozzle makes drinking easier. I like that I can throw this bag on with everything in it and barely notice it on my back while riding. I'm 6'-3" tall 200lbs and it adjusts to my back and shoulders comfortably. If you are looking for a way to carry your essentials on any ride without having to load yourself down with bulky bags or panniers then this is the pack for you.
Excellent Pack
The Dakine Session pack is excellent for shorter rides. It isn't meant to be an all-day pack. The 70 oz bladder holds enough water for a few hours on the trail, and is one of the best I have used. This thing is durable! The folding top makes it easy to clean at the end of the day. The pack itself is lightweight, solidly built, and carries Dakine's lifetime warranty. It has dedicated pockets for a mini pump, mp3 player, and sunglasses. The straps are comfortable and keep the pack from shifting around. For its small size, I can stuff quite a large amount of gear in it. Overall, the Session is a solid choice for those who want capacity without added bulk.
