Carries a Load
Fantastic backpack for skiing. Or, for anything else. This is my third DaKine Heli. The first was absconded by my son, the second is more for snowboarding, and this one is perfect for hiking up to the summit of Peak 8 at Breckenridge. Skis strap on quickly and easily, with the straps and cables quickly hiding when I'm done. Fit is about perfect. I'm 5'7", and 160 lbs. The pack has plenty of room to fit a bigger frame. And--lots of pockets. This is a big improvement over my first two packs. Lets me separate gear from lunch from cameras from whatever.

Heli Pro DLX 16L Backpack
Bought this to replace an old Burton pack. I was very apprehensive but this pack is amazing. I wish I got it sooner. So much space, so technically. They've thought of everything. Great for a board OR skis.

Nice backpack
Just had the chance to try out the backpack. Looks small but carried all my gear with no problem. Quality of the pack is excellent. Goggle pocket and waist pocket are excellent ideas. Pros More than adequate storage and lots of pockets Excellent quality Comfortably carries a snowboard Insulated hydration sleeve Cons Was a little heavier than I expected but that was due to the sturdy material so it's not really a con but something to be aware of.

Great pack
Great backpack. I tested this baby out on the slopes two days after I got it in the mail. Great space, the pockets are very handy and the fleece lining is great. I especially liked the small little fleece lined pocket on the waste strap, perfect for your phone and wallet, or in my case tissues! Very easy to access, waterproof, and fleece lined; it's little things like these that make this pack stand out and outperform other packs. Backpack is very comfortable to wear, and the straps are perfect and convenient. The only downside is that when I first took it out of the packaging, it felt pretty heavy. Nevertheless, I had not problems at all on the slope and I didn't even notice the slight weight on my back.

Purchased this as a gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it. Perfect for just about anything, very versatile for carrying a snowboard. Lots of options.
